During my VU Artscience internship at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, I created living fabric from Kombucha bacterial cellulose combined with plants and algae, forming a symbiotic ecosystem in clothing. This fabric challenges fashion norms: can we reduce waste by growing, eating, and restyling clothes at home?
