Photosynthetic Human imagines a future in which the human body becomes an active participant in ecological restoration. By merging living microalgae with the skin through a translucent bio-gel, the body is transformed into a wearable photosynthetic system, capable of producing oxygen through light. This work merges science, design, and speculative fashion to propose a new form of symbiosis between human and environment: one where we don’t just consume, but contribute.
